IRRIGATION
Irrigate your crops by remotely actuating valves. Set schedules weeks in advance or in the moment for immediate irrigations. Last minute changes to your initial irrigation plan? No problem. The DropControl system has a 3-minute response time and can be turned on or off immediately.

COOLING
Protect your crop from record highs by establishing a custom alert system through DropControl. Using data collected on-site or from nearby CIMIS weather stations, get notified when the weather reaches a specific temperature. Then, turn on your cooling system until you're notified of your set cooler temperature.

FROST ACTIVATION
Similar to cooling, activate frost systems by operating and actuating pump systems remotely after receiving a custom cold temperature alert. Set a second alert to come through once the temperature has overcome the threatening low so you can turn off your frost system.

Drop Point Automation and WiseConn Engineering
Drop Point Automation (DPA) has been a dealer and installer of WiseConn Engineering products since 2018. With the use of WiseConn's hardware and DropControl software, we're able to install automated irrigation control and monitoring. DPA customizes each installation using products from WiseConn Engineering, DAVIS Instruments, Sentek Technologies, Netafim, Seametrics, and more. If you have something already installed and are curious if it can be incorporated and monitored in DropControl, contact us for a list of compatible devices.

We customize each product per installation site depending on the type of control or monitoring a client needs. The majority of the systems we install are supported by WiseConn's monitoring and controlling node (seen below in green) or a field monitoring node (seen below in orange). Pump and filter station control nodes are also available (seen below in blue).
Once installed, this equipment creates a wireless mesh network system that sync's with a satellite. From there, it shares the collected data with its coinciding DropControl user(s), allowing for 24/7 reliable on-site control.
